WAXING / SUGARING
WAXING
METHOD
Warm wax is applied in the direction of hair growth, and peeled off in the opposite direction. This removes the hair from the follicle, and makes your skin smooth and hairless for several weeks. The hair growing again later on will be softer, while hair growth will be less and easier to remove in case of regular treatment. The ideal hair length for epilation by waxing is 6 and 8 mm. To treat small surfaces like face, armpit and genital areas, a spatula is used for applying wax while we use effective wax cartridges to work on larger areas like back, abdomen, arms and legs.
SUGARING
METHOD
Sugar paste is applied contrary to the direction of hair growth, and peeled off in the opposite direction. Apart from helping to prevent inflammation, this method is gentler on your skin and easier to tolerate. Your skin will be smoother and remain hairless for about four weeks (depending on individual hair growth), while this procedure is also suitable for short hair up to a maximum of 6 mm. On small surfaces like face, armpit and genital areas, the flicking method is used for applying sugar paste manually. To remove all hair from larger surfaces like back, abdomen, arm and leg areas, warm sugar paste and strips of non-woven are applied and then peeled off following the direction of hair growth. We use cartridges for covering larger surfaces in order to avoid any overly extended treatment time for you.
